Release of the Air Jordan 10
A milestone was embraced with the Air Jordan 10. Although it signified a milestone for the Jordan brand in itself, its more appreciated for representing the return of Michael Jordan to the game he loves. The design was simple with an all white body, a black tongue, and a zebra like pattern on the outsole. Gray lace holes would round out the look. They were inspired by the Air Jordan 3 (III), the Air Jordan 5 (IV), and the Air Jordan l (VI).
The best feature of the Air Jordan 10 was the bottom of the sneaker. Inscribed in the rubber were Michael Jordan’s 10 greatest accomplishments achieved in each of his first 10 seasons as a pro. Here is what they were:
