The release of the Air Jordan 5

Michael Jordan and Hatfield have once again outdone themselves. The World War II Mustang fighter plane inspired Jordan 5, and it was simply a marvel to behold. The shark teeth shapes would make one believe they could “bite” off defenders on the court. With clear rubber soles and a reflective tongue, this unique look would arguably be the best Jordans yet.
The colorful retro Jordans were in demand
In 2000, Nike released its retro Jordan 5 which included the popular LS “Grape” V’s, the LS “burgundy” V’s and the “Fire-Red” V’s. In 2007, limited edition laser designed retro’s were released.
